ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

Novi, MI/Remote

THE OPPORTUNITY

Job Responsibilities:

  • Represent and deliver our clients products and services as a “consultive partner” vs. a transactional vendor

  • Serve as the primary client-facing / day-to-day “point person” for established partner clients

  • Work as a daily partner and advisor to partner-clients

  • Participate in new business pitches to understand how our clients products/services are both positioned and received by the customer – which will serve to establish and understand the customers’ expectations

  • Once new business is secured, the Account Director will assume the day-to-day “point person” responsibilities on the account  

  • Consult with creative, media, production, and research/planning, to be certain agency and client goals are understood and incorporated into the end product and deliverables

  • Work collaboratively with teams to build and lead partner reporting meetings

  • Identify opportunity and strategic (meaning, not every client!) cross-sell / up-sell opportunities

  • Monitors Google Analytics, campaign performance dashboards, listens to calls (Call Rail), to monitor in-month campaign performance

  • Leverage all data to “Find the story”, “Find the story”, Find the story” for client performance reporting meetings!

  • Mobilize agency teams to develop and meet common, clearly defined goals

  • Frame the issues facing your partner-clients and develop recommended approaches built on experience and your expertise to their solution

  • Always promote and uphold professional standards and ethics within team and all partner-clients

WHO YOU ARE

Skills and Experience of the Account Director:  

  • Proficient with Google “PPC” (pay-per-click) campaigns

  • Proficient in paid social media channels and capabilities

  • Proficient in “OTT/CTV” campaigns and capabilities

  • Proficient with Google Analytics

  • Proficient with 3rd party dashboards and call reporting (Call Rail)

  • Proficient with 1st/3rd party datasets that can be leveraged to create custom audiences, of known behaviors, for specific product/service campaigns

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with both written, and live, correspondence with both clients as well as internal/external teams and vendors
