CHANNEL MARKETING MANAGER

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is hiring a Channel Marketing Manager who will develop and implement channel marketing programs that target financial advisors through the financial services channel to promote the company's done-for-you marketing services. The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering marketing projects and campaigns to drive growth and retention through IMO/FMO, Broker Dealers and strategic partners. This role will help to create marketing plans, stay up to date on competitive landscape, and coordinate campaigns across internal marketing / business development teams in addition to external partners. The Channel Marketing Manager is a marketing athlete and is not afraid to up roll up their sleeves to help drive initiatives over the finish line. This role reports directly into the VP of Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Marketing Team to position company as the trusted brand for channel partners by incorporating insights into the development of marketing strategy, campaigns, and sales support tailored to the specific needs of each partner type.

  • Work directly with internal Business Development and Client Relations teams to develop impactful account-based and channel marketing initiatives.

  • Manage and coordinate marketing communications of business development and client relations support materials- including but not limited to sales presentations, webinars, : print and digital advertising, written and digital communications, competition analysis, etc.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and generate new ideas for channel optimization and help to facilitate deeper relationships with top accounts.

  • Develop reports and presentations regarding effectiveness of WG’s solutions with specific accounts or channel partners.

  • Communicate proactively with members of Business Dev and Marketing teams.

  • Assist Business development teams with live and virtual event coordination.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 5+ years financial services sales and/or channel marketing experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communications.

  • Salesforce.com experience preferred.

  • Experience working in a SaaS environment is a plus.

  • Strong project management and campaign scheduling skills.

  • Excellent communication and writing skills.

  • Must understand the challenges of financial advisors.

  • Comfortable working in an environment where process does not always exist and ability to navigate your way through the business to ensure your success.

 

THE GOOD STUFF

Salary Range: $75k - $85k
