BUSINESS MARKETING

A tech-enabled marketing services company that, through its proprietary done-for-you platform, makes it easy for professional advisors such as financial, insurance, estate planning and more to succeed with client-getting strategies, such as educational seminars, webinars, direct leads and appointments, social media management and other digital media. 

THE OPPORTUNITY

An experienced Business Marketing professional will be responsible for overseeing the B2B direct channel marketing and the account-based and partner marketing for the company brand and related products. Applicants should be able to reach financial advisors and other professional advisors directly through digital and traditional platforms, conferences & events, as well as strategic partnerships and channel relationships, and integrate these marketing and channel development efforts across various departments. The individual in this role will collaborate closely with the Sales, Client Relations and Business Development teams to craft and execute plans for branding and account-based programs. This unique opportunity will allow you to drive the company’s business marketing strategy while they expand into new products and markets. This role will report directly to the CEO but work in collaboration with the VP, Consumer Marketing to plan execution among a staff of shared marketing services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with the CEO and head of Business Development and Client Relations, manage company brand in the financial advisor and related advisor channels via company platform and its related products and services:

    • Product launches and messaging

    • Channel-based promotions and calendar

    • Thought-leadership, Influencer and Evangelist programs

  • Oversee and collaborate with Client Relations, Sales and Business Development to assist channel marketing team to plan and execute:

    • Account-based marketing programs, and

    • Conferences, events and other business development programs

    • Product specification collateral and supporting channel marketing assets

  • Manage Business Marketing alignment across sales, client relations and business marketing though monthly planning sessions.

  • Manage strategy for email marketing and promotion campaigns related to:

    • Lists, Older leads and inactive customers, and

    • Assist sales, where needed, with active leads, opportunities and customers

  • In collaboration with CEO & Marketing leadership: Define, design, develop, deploy and track direct channel marketing campaigns that focus on:

    • Brand awareness

    • Top of Funnel - thought leadership and influencers

    • Lead acquisition, and

    • Retention, loyalty and referral programs

  • Conduct customer, brand, and competitive research and report insights, where needed.

  • Leverage marketing shared services to assist with execution of direct campaigns as it relates to design, content and email.

  • Determine, manage, and track team KPIs focused on achieving personal, departmental, and company goals based on bi-weekly sprints and quarterly business planning.

  • Monitor costs and budgets for all B2B campaigns.

WHO YOU ARE

 You are data and results driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 7-10 years of relevant experience.

  • 5+ Years’ experience in B2B marketing with focus on financial services.

  • Industry experience and comfortable building relationships with key accounts.

  • Excellent leadership and communications skills.

  • Must be DATA-DRIVEN and high aptitude for measuring ROM and campaign analytics.

  • Experience developing a thoughtful and strategic digital media plan.

  • Experience development account-based marketing programs.

  • Experience crafting marketing plans including strategy, budgeting, and goals.

  • Fluent in Facebook Ads manager, Google Ads, LinkedIn Advertising, Google Analytics and other digital platforms.

  • Experience in website management, A/B testing, UI/UX, HTML, and content management systems.

  • Experience with marketing automation systems (i.e. HubSpot).

THE GOOD STUFF

Salary Range: $90k - $100k​

This position is bonus eligible.
