DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is hiring an experienced Marketing Leader to assist in the planning, execution and optimization of their marketing efforts. This role requires forward thinking as we look to continue improving our reputation in the industry, maintaining our current clients’ satisfaction and bringing new initiatives to market with compelling campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers to the product or service.

  • Help to manage and direct the Marketing team to ensure timeliness of key deliverables and coordinates new initiatives.

  • Develop marketing strategies for new products or services to help to drive brand awareness across web, email, print, social and display advertising.

  • Oversee creation of lead and customer email workflows and help to implement B2B lead scoring.

  • Develop formal internal and external communications process.

  • Assist in onboarding enterprise companies and corresponding sales enablement.

  • Develop, execute, and optimize demand generation via organic and paid advertising.

  • Create revenue generating campaigns to support business development & channel marketing teams.

  • Oversee ad copy creation, testing, web analytics, retargeting and new channel testing to optimize campaigns to hit company performance goals.

  • Develop a deep understanding of customers, products, and the buyer’s journey.

  • Work closely with internal team members, outside vendors and creatives to implement new ideas, creative rotation and monitor campaign budget.

  • Measure, analyze, and report campaign performance.

WHO YOU ARE

The ideal candidate must be a collaborative leader with a passion for digital marketing, technology and managing people. The Director of Marketing is a digital marketing athlete who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is client-focused, team-oriented, and is able to execute in a way that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of digital marketing experience at an innovative company or agency; wealth management or asset management industry helpful, but not required.

  • Experience with marketing technology, including automation platforms (Hubspot preferred).

  • Experience and comfort collaborating with cross-functional internal stakeholders.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in communications, marketing, or a related field preferred.

  • Focus: Ability to manage numerous, concurrent tactical responsibilities while not losing site of the bigger picture; strong attention to detail and quality.

  • Agility: Able to shift gears and react quickly to timely requests.

  • Hustle: Self-motivated, proactive, responsive—ability to think strategically but also willing to dig into the details and tactics.

  • Performance marketing mindset: High comfort level with using digital marketing analytics to gauge efficacy and drive, test and learn

 

THE GOOD STUFF

Salary Range: $90k - $110k
