This role will start out as a manager and has the potential to grow into more senior positions. The role will initially focus on execution and implementation and will report directly to the President. Some of the specific requirements are listed below.


Key Requirements:

  • Manage relationships with third-party organizations (marketing partners, industry groups, charities, etc.)

  • Plan, implement, and manage marketing communications initiatives

    • Website content, including SEO functions

    • Company LinkedIn page

    • Press releases and announcements

    • Email marketing campaigns (i.e. recruiting, deal closes, company updates, etc.)

    • Advertising campaigns (print and digital)

    • Event participation (trade shows and conferences)

  • Plan, implement, and manage marketing collateral initiatives

    • Ensure proper brand implementation on all materials (teasers, CIMs, reports, decks, etc.) across all lines of business

    • Assist with “swag” items and ensure proper brand implementation

  • Identify, plan, and manage public appearances

    • Conference speaking engagements

    • Panel discussions and subject matter experts

    • Podcasts, radio, television

  • Manage annual marketing budget allocation 

  • Work with internal resources and/or agency partners to develop unique communications and strategies for specific audiences (clients by sector, recruiting efforts, employee engagement, etc.

  • Identify new avenues and opportunities to build sector-specific brand awareness by market and line of service

  • Develop a repeatable system to measure ROI and adoption rates for each campaign, by market.


The candidate should have an undergraduate degree from a top tier university with a degree in marketing or communications. The candidate should have 4–7 years of experience in a marketing communications or public relations position, ideally with an investment bank or consulting firm.

  • Familiarity with finance, investment banking, and/or private equity industry or willingness to learn and understand

  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft products; understanding of WordPress, MailChimp, and LinkedIn platforms; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results

  • Proactive, motivated and a self-starter with the ability to work independently in demanding environments and multitask and meet deadlines

  • Highly detail oriented and organized in work, with strong project management skills

  • Ability to provide solution-based alternatives

  • Excellent written, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal communications skills
