THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is the industry leader in incentivized digital engagements and the talented team behind many of the promotions, rebates, and loyalty programs that you likely participate in. They're looking for a Marketing Strategic Analyst to work with clients and the internal team to develop promotion and loyalty program strategy, analyze/measure the effectiveness of programs, and provide post-program reporting. ​

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides data driven thought leadership (not just dashboard level insight but taking it two levels deeper.

  • Takes the lead on strategy initiatives: points out a need, recommends a solution, develops an implementation plan and successfully leads the implementation. 

  • Proactively identifies ways to grow an account beyond what is asked/stated deliverables.

  • Assists clients in KPI development and building reporting plans specific to their needs.

  • Mines data, derives insights, and turns those insights into actionable business objectives.

  • Produces business cases to guide future decision-making, versus simply reflecting on past results.

  • Creates report templates to scale access to analytics solutions across the company.

WHO YOU ARE

Strategic Analysts are thought leaders who turn insights into actions that improve company's client’s business results. The ideal candidate is both highly analytical and creative, is an exceptional communicator (written and verbal), takes initiative on projects and has 4-8 years of prior relevant marketing experience. 

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical skills with proficiency in presenting recommendations and conclusions to clients. 

  • Ability to push past the clear, obvious solutions and answers to find a new and better way. 

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced cross-functional environment handling multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

  • High level of proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Adept at leveraging analytics technologies and tools for solving business problems, conceiving potential future solutions, and working with technology partners to translate into robust, scaled, analytic solutions and actionable insights.

  • Proficiency with business intelligence platforms such as SQL, Power BI, and Google Analytics.

Experience:

  •  Minimum 4-8 years of relevant strategy & analytics experience through a marketing lens.

  • Experience in an interactive agency is preferred, but open to other industries with demonstrated track record of business strategy and analytics mastery.

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
