PROCUREMENT PROJECT LEAD

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is the industry leader in incentivized digital engagements and the talented team behind many of the promotions, rebates, and loyalty programs that you likely participate in. Clients consist of Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 brands, promotional agencies, ad agencies, and digital shops. We are looking for a Procurement Project Lead to manage the prizing portion of their programs from beginning to end. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Inventory:

  • Tracking of current and arriving inventory

  • Verifying incoming inventory

  • Follow up with concerned parties regarding shortages, excess, and damages

  • Addition of new inventory data as required

  • Inventory maintenance to ensure accurate counts at all times

  • Communication with client and team members regarding active inventory levels

Project Quoting:

  • Estimation of effort and costs to perform various projects

  • Managing and establishing relationships with Prizing Vendors as required

  • Monitoring trends regarding Prizing to determine what is in high demand/trending

Project Fulfillment:

  • Manage fulfillment of prizing through multiple partners

  • Assistance in the distribution of excess inventory at project end

  • Tracking project 

Project Leadership:

  • Manage each program per the quote and the expectations of the client and internal associates

  • Assist with monthly reconciliation of project costs

  • Develop process flow improvements as need is discovered

WHO YOU ARE

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience that reflects gained proficiency in the necessary job requirements or Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in supply chain management, business, or related field

  • High degree of integrity 

  • General competency in Microsoft Office Suite of Tools

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with Inventory Management Systems. Inflow a plus

  • Advanced knowledge of Internet tools and browsers

  • Experience managing and keeping track of inventory

  • Experience establishing/building relationships with outside vendors

  • Negotiation skills

  • Experience in international shipping requirements a plus

  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Highly detail oriented

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Able to function in a collaborative manner
