SALES PRODUCER

THE OPPORTUNITY

Key Responsibilities:

  • Successfully develop and deploy sales and marketing strategies with clients and prospects.

  • Manage the overall client relationship.

  • Drive consistent and predictable organic growth, client satisfaction, and profitability.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the discovery process (sales due diligence) and conceptual presentation promoting the company's value proposition and differentiation.

  • Demonstrate the ability to identify and overcome sales obstacles on a prospect specific basis.

  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and innovation based on knowledge of the market.

  • Positively interact with the company's colleagues, including management team and service department, to provide a seamless experience for clients.

  • Perform all other duties as requested or assigned.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Personable and highly motivated to grow personal success.

  • A consultative, positive, and resourceful approach to dealing with prospects, clients, and colleagues.

  • Strong and/or developing understanding of property and casualty insurance. Experience in a customer-facing environment – this doesn’t have to strictly be a sales role (e.g., if you are an amazing waiter/waitress/bartender or have retail experience, you are poised to succeed at this job!)

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Solid computer skills (comfortable using email, multiple screens, and jumping between multiple browsers/applications).

  • High school diploma or GED.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience selling or servicing personal lines insurance. 

  • Active insurance license.
