Summary:

The Wealth Advisor will become a crucial part of the team. The ideal candidate will work well in both a self-directed manner and in a collaborative team environment, able to pivot between consultative, administrative, operational and research roles. Important competencies to succeed in this position are honestly, dependability, strong follow-through and excellent work ethic.

 

Essential Job Duties:

  • Assemble the deliverables for client review and prospect meetings, including items such as: portfolio performance reports, financial planning materials (become the in-house expert on financial planning), prospect portfolio reviews, and occasional custodial paperwork.

  • Collaborate with client account managers to craft investment recommendations for new clients, including in-depth analysis of opportunities that align with clients’ asset allocation, risk tolerance, time horizon, and personal preferences.

  • Assist with executing trades in client accounts and monitoring client portfolio allocations using and maintaining portfolio rebalancing software.

  • Participate on our investment committee and playing a role in quarterly discussions, with responsibility for executing the firm’s investment philosophy and policies.

  • Participate in various quarter-end processing functions (data audits, reporting and billing).

  • Provide year-end and tax season support, such as: delivering 1099s, cost basis research, management fee reporting, contribution research, RMD monitoring.

  • Deliver high quality client service in a professional, caring, and compliant manner.

  • Experience with developing product elements and toolsets

  • Experience with lending systems and workflows (Loan origination systems, Loan servicing systems, Portfolio management systems)

  • Communicate effectively in person, in writing, and verbally with clients, prospects, and others in the organization.

  • Monitor and analyze workflows and seeking ways to optimize and evolve them.

     

     

Skills, Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (in finance, economics, or business preferred) with at least three years’ experience in financial services or related industry. CFP desired

  • Demonstrated financial literacy and ability to work with numbers.

  • Strong proofreading and effective communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain utmost discretion in working with sensitive and confidential information.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Perform duties in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner.

  • Competency in all aspects of the Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel) and ability to learn new software and technologies (e.g. Black Diamond, Riskalyze)
