The company is a full-service investment advisory firm whose advisors provide portfolio management and financial planning services specializing in Wealth Management and Financial Planning for affluent families, professionals, business owners, retirees and women and Special Needs Planning. They are energetic, collaborative and client service focused. Clients come first, and expect top performance and a can-do, committed attitude from all team members.
Previous financial planning experience is required. Strong proficiency with CRM, MS Office - Excel and Word are a must. Securities licenses are required.
Role Summary: This role will involve learning and supporting an existing book of clients as well as developing new business. We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about helping clients, good communicators, self-starters, reliable, organized, and can follow-through on activities efficiently. This position requires the ability to work well in both a self-directed manner and in a collaborative team environment. Versatility, flexibility, and empathy are all keys to success.
Responsibilities:

Deliver an exceptional client experience in every interaction and continually look for ways to improve the client experience and to create efficiencies.

Become an expert in working with our CRM, trading, and financial planning software.

Deliver well-crafted advice and guidance to clients and assist team members in doing the same.

Become clients’ go-to resource for all things in their financial lives.

Develop new business by soliciting referrals, developing centers of influence, and being active in the community.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree (in finance, economics, or business preferred) with at least 5-8 years’ experience in financial services or related industry.

Fully licensed through FINRA (Series 7, 63, 65, 66)

Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing investments, putting investment outcomes in context for clients, and implementing and explaining financial plans.

Strong proofreading and effective communication skills.

Ability to maintain utmost discretion in working with sensitive and confidential information.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and a team player who can pitch in wherever needed.

Perform duties in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner.

Competency in all aspects of the Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel) and ability to learn new software and technologies.
