THE OPPORTUNITY
The Assistant Property Manager supports the management of mixed-use commercial real estate across the company portfolio. The Assistant Property Manager performs various administrative and project related activities and improves and deploys new processes.
Responsibilities:

Managing tenant complaints and service requests, including intake of tenant phone calls and emails, and effectively distributing to responsible team member.

Intake Contractor invoices and initiate Accounts Payable process, including updating and streamlining the current process.

Data entry to PM software, Appfolio.

Effectively managing tenant relationships, specifically following up with tenants after work is complete, providing a positive customer experience.

Manage communications on behalf of department, including drafting letters and emails and making phone calls.

Process New Lease Admin Work.

Log and monitor tenant and contractor insurance certificates.

Organize annual inspections.

Manage the team calendar.
-
Other projects, duties and responsibilities as needed to effectively support the department.
Qualifications:
-
2+ years of experience in a similarly situated role requiring strong administrative, communication, customer service and project management skills.

Excellent communication and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and execution.

A self-starter with an innate capacity for improving and streamlining processes.
