ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Assistant Property Manager supports the management of mixed-use commercial real estate across the company portfolio. The Assistant Property Manager performs various administrative and project related activities and improves and deploys new processes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing tenant complaints and service requests, including intake of tenant phone calls and emails, and effectively distributing to responsible team member.

  • Intake Contractor invoices and initiate Accounts Payable process, including updating and streamlining the current process.

  • Data entry to PM software, Appfolio.

  • Effectively managing tenant relationships, specifically following up with tenants after work is complete, providing a positive customer experience.

  • Manage communications on behalf of department, including drafting letters and emails and making phone calls.

  • Process New Lease Admin Work.

  • Log and monitor tenant and contractor insurance certificates.

  • Organizing annual inspections.

  • Managing the team calendar.

  • Other projects, duties and responsibilities as needed to effectively support the department.

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similarly situated role requiring strong administrative, communication, customer service and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and execution.

  • A self-starter with an innate capacity for improving and streamlining processes.
