THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client, a vibrant facility services firm focused on the medical and health sectors, is hiring a Director level Business Development Executive to grow the business alongside the owner. The ideal candidate has previously developed relationships with owners and executives in the medical and health spaces and is prepared and well positioned to leverage their relationships.

Responsibilities: 

  • Research, select, and effectively close high quality business

  • Serve as a brand ambassador to the company, positioning yourself as an expert in the medical and health sectors

  • Understand and execute the company contract, tailoring business to achieve the best outcomes for the client and company

  • Prospecting and outreach via cold calling, emails, LinkedIn and other methods with the goal of securing a meeting

  • Attending networking and community events, conferences, and other networking based business development initiatives

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years experience in B2B sales to the medical, health or wellness sectors having attained the ability to gain commitments, meet commitments, provide advice and recommendations, resolve concerns, create opportunities and tell a meaningful story

  • Strong prospecting and outreach capabilities with a proven ability to secure a meeting

  • High in emotional intelligence and empathy; an active lister with strong communication skills

  • A strong LinkedIn presence and engagement style is preferred
