Our client is seeking an energetic, organized, and creative Retail and Events Marketing Specialist to join their marketing team. The Retail and Events Marketing Specialist will support, plan, and execute store marketing efforts to increase brand awareness, drive revenue, and grow the customer base.

 

Responsibilities:

• Executing Loyalty Program, Grand Openings, and Customer Appreciation events, including staffing events, managing vendors, planning and budgeting

• Plan, execute and/or attend job fairs as the company representative in an effort to attract new talent

• Plan and execute Holiday Sales, including signage and consumer marketing

• Coordinating periodic sales advertisements such as newsletters and shopper ads in collaboration with purchasing department and district managers

• Additional responsibilities related to executing the above may include graphic design, website maintenance, social media, text and email blasts, and other duties as necessary

 

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relatable experience in a marketing or retail capacity

• Associates degree or equivalent in marketing or related field

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing

• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) with basic knowledge of Adobe

• Strong understanding and eye for the details of tangible marketing, i.e. signage and display enhancers
