THE OPPORTUNITY
The Office Administrator will assist with all office related tasks and some order entry. Some of these tasks may include filing, mailing, making copies, opening the mail, setting up company events, entering orders, answering telephone calls along with Microsoft Excel and Word work.
Responsibilities:

Order Entry – Checking for bill of materials (BOM’s), lead times, accuracy, shipment terms, part number, pricing, etc.

Coordinate with Manufacturing for lead times

Coordinate with Engineering for BOM/REV issues
-
Communicate with customer to acknowledge order and any order changes

Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)

Coordinate company events
-
Track stock of office supplies communicate with purchasing to place orders for any items needed

Communicate with building maintenance vendors to arrange service and follow-up
-
Compile work order travelers and scan in old ones

Maintain office appearance and cleanliness – clean coffee area and maintain dishes

Utilize spreadsheets and documents to assist other employees/managers

Assist onboarding new employees (pictures/badges)
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required)
-
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
-
Good organization and leadership skills
-
Fluent in Microsoft Office suite of products
