We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to oversee the technical development of loan origination and loan servicing platforms and eventually manage a team. The Senior Engineer will oversee the development of all aspects of the current product roadmap and support all production applications. They will manage a team of engineers and developers that work across all stacks and functional applications. The Senior Engineer will be required to be hands on from front end technologies to backend Saas based platforms and preferably is currently working in a financial services company that develops loan products for global markets.

 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee entire infrastructure

• Understand business specs through to production environment (product development to qa)

• Roll out new platform

• Create a consumer platform

• Support core infrastructure 

• Consolidate current outsourced solutions and bring in-house (allowing for overlap)

• Develop solutions in a micro service environment

• Manage complex infrastructure

•  Build and Manage team (future, up to 10 people)

 

Requirements:

•  9+ years as an Engineer working across all stacks

• Expert skills and understanding of the core enterprise development techniques and methods in SCRUM/AGILE development

• 5 years of hands-on experience working in Salesforce technologies

• 5 years of hands-on experience in supporting and building large scale software development projects

• Experience in handling complex infrastructures in Azure and AWS

• Experience building and shipping technical platforms for financial service companies in the insurance space

• Experience with APEX, SOQL, MS SQL, Python and other modern frameworks

• Experience with developing consumer-based banking products

• Experience with lending systems and supporting micro servicing infrastructures

• Experience designing Saas based software leveraging 3rd party API’s F

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (EC2, RDS, EBS, S3, ELB, Lamda)

• Familiarity with modern CRM and ERP platforms like Salesforce and Netsuite

• Computer Science degree of equivalent work experience
