The Accounting and Tax Manager will work closely with a variety of clients in a diverse range of industries, providing tax compliance and consulting services. The qualified candidate is specialized in individual and corporate tax, accounting, and controllership consulting.

Skills and Practices:

• Federal, state and local, sale and use tax 

• Controllership services to clients seeking to outsource functions of their accounting department

• Mergers and Acquisitions, including tax structure

• Proactive tax planning strategies for closely held businesses, owners, and families

• Planning and accounting for closely held businesses, corporate re-organizations, estate and trusts, employee benefit plans, and exempt organizations

• Corporate, partnership, and individual tax planning

• Issue checks from various checking accounts.

• Extensive experience in assisting clients in resolving tax inquiries and controversies with federal, state, and local tax authorities

 

Qualifications:

• Enrolled Agent Tax Preparer

• CPA is a plus

• Master of Science in Taxation is a plus
